Attention Seniors: Learn More About the Proficiency Profile
Graduating seniors are being asked to take an hour to help UNI gather evidence about learning related to general areas of skill gained from a university education. In return for that hour, seniors get a chance to win a Nook e-Reader, as well as earn free graduation apparel. Being eligible for the prizes involves completing a 40-minute test called Proficiency Profile, which is accessible online.
The Proficiency Profile is a standardized test that seniors are invited to take to help UNI gather evidence about learning related to general skill areas for university graduates. The test takes one hour to complete and can be done online from any computer with access to the internet. (For information on how UNI uses the Proficiency Profile, please click here.) Seniors who take the test are eligible to be entered into a drawing for a Nook e-Reader! Students who complete the test early also have the opportunity to win free graduation apparel.
If you would like to get your name entered into the drawing, and are willing to give an hour to help UNI, please select the college in which your first major is housed from the listing below; if you are not sure what college your major is from, please click here. If you have any questions, please contact Shirley Uehle or call the Office of Academic Assessment (319-273-2778)
