Call for Classes

Greetings Department Schedulers!

In an effort to increase our sustainability efforts, the Call for the Schedule of Classes will be made available via the Office of the Registrar website. If you prefer to have a PDF copy of the former memo and policy information, please navigate to Summer 2013 Call Letter or Fall 2013 Call Letter.

Previous like-term sections are "rolled over" as a starting point for updating with new semester information on the Maintain Schedule of Classes screen. To add a section not previously offered, go to the Schedule New Course screen. DELETE any sections that rolled forward from the previous like-term which you do not intend to offer. You may begin modifying, deleting, and adding to the Summer 2013 schedule in the system effective Friday, January 11th, and the Fall 2013 schedule effective Friday, January 18th. Be sure to make any appropriate changes reflecting the new 2012-2014 catalog information (i.e. new course numbers, titles, etc.).

Please complete the setup of your schedules on or before 5:00 p.m. on the following dates:

Summer 2013 - Friday, February 1, 2013

Fall 2013 - Wednesday, February 20, 2013

At this time, Office of the Registrar staff will begin reviewing schedules and will be responsible for maintaining schedules from that point on. Departments will retain access to update enrollment limits, wait list capacities, and textbook information. An opportunity for departments to proof final schedules prior to release to the public will occur as in the past. Once the schedule is finalized, submission of a Schedule Change Request will be required to make changes to the Summer 2013 Schedule of Classes. Please be sure to use the correct term (Summer 2013 = 2131 & Fall 2013 = 2132)!

New department schedulers or existing schedulers who would like a refresher on setting up their Summer schedules may contact Rachel Jones or Marissa Timmerman to setup a time to receive individual assistance. The following are some additional resources available for your reference as well:
