Attention Fall 2012 Graduates and Commencement Attendees

All information pertaining to the Fall 2012 Graduation and Commencement is available on the Graduation and Commencement page our website. Additionally, all graduating students, and those students who plan to walk through the Fall 2012 Commencement ceremony, must fill out and submit a Commencement RSVP.

Attention Summer 2012 Graduates: Diplomas Will Be Mailed Shortly!

You've been calling to inquire as to when you're diploma (from the greatest school on Earth) will arrive, and here's the answer: They will be mailed on Friday, September 14, 2012...YIPPIE! Please expect up to two weeks for delivery. If you are a summer graduate, and you have not received your diploma by the end of September, please contact Irene Elbert via e-mail to inquire further. Congratulations on your recent graduation and best wishes!

2012-2014 Programs and Courses Catalog Now Available!

The 2012-2014 Programs and Courses Catalog is now available online at 2012-2014 Academic Catalog website.

A downloadable PDF of the entire catalog is also in the process of being created, but it will not be available on the 2012-2014 Academic Catalog website until approximately September 1.

Enrollment Verifications Available Via Self-Service!

Did you know you can print Enrollment Verifications whenever you want from within you Student Center?! For step-by-step instructions on how you can do so from the comfort of your own computer, please click here.

With Student Self-Service, you can also:

  • View your enrollment history
  • View the proofs of enrollment sent on you behalf to student service provider
  • Get a list of student loan holders
  • Find out when deferment notices were sent to your student lenders

Are you wondering whether or not your degree has been posted? Well, let us tell you how you can find out! By accessing your Unofficial Grade Report, you can view your graduation status - AWESOME! We know you looked at the Unofficial Grade Report every day you were here as a student, but just in case you have forgotten since your graduation oh so long ago, we will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to do so. Locating Your Enrollment Appointment

Having trouble finding your enrollment date/time??

Follow these simple steps:

1. Log into MyUNIverse

2. On the "My Page" tab, click on "Go to my Student Center"

3. Once inside your Student Center, see the "Enrollment Dates" box on the upper right hand side of your page.

4. Inside that box, you will most likely see your Spring appointment. Click "details."

5. It will ask you to select a term. Select "Spring 2013." (If you do not see this term, contact our office at 319 273-2241).

6. Once you have selected the appropriate term, your date and time will show up.

Schedule of Classes: Class Search - Do NOT Use Internet Explorer

When using Internet Explorer to perform a Class Search outside of Student Center, Faculty Center, and/or Advisor Center, all sections of a multiple section course are not being displayed appropriately. As a result, it is recommended that you use Mozilla/Firefox, Google Chrome, or Safari and avoid the use of Internet Explorer when searching for classes.

Student Enrollment Verifications Now Available via Self-Service

Did you know you can get up-to-date information on your enrollment and student loans from your MyUNIverse Student Center?! With Student Self-Service, you can! You can even print Enrollment Verification Certificates whenever you want. With Student Self-Service, you can: (1) Print Enrollment Verification Certificates; (2) View your enrollment history; (3) View the proofs of enrollment sent on you behalf to student service providers; (4) Get a list of student loan holders; and (5) Find out when deferment notices were sent to your student lenders. Payment for Transcripts - No Cash, Check, Debit or Credit Card Information Needed

If you are submitting a Transcript Request Form to our office, please do not include cash, check, or debit/credit card information for payment. We will be able to process your transcript request if you have no financial holds, and the Office of Business Operations will bill you for your transcript request. Be sure to include a current billing address. If you are a current student, the charge will be added to your U-Bill, which is viewable in Student Center within your MyUNIverse account. All other individuals will receive a paper bill in the mail.
