(Not open to School Library Media Studies majors and minors.)  This class meets once at the scheduled time; the remainder of the class is taught via the Web.  Students must have access to a recent version of a Web Browser.  Students not attending the first session will be dropped from the class.

350:114g             Introduction to the School Library Program - 3 hrs.

 

Prerequisite(s): junior standing; written consent of program coordinator; formerly 350:121g. The portfolio created in this course becomes the condition for continuation in the School Library Studies program, and must be taken in the first semester.  This class will meet on campus Saturday, August 23rd from 9:00-5:00 p.m., and on Saturday, December 13th, from 9:00-12:00 noon with Professors Stern and Krueger.  The remainder of the class will be taught in modules with campus attendance not required.  Students must have access to a recent version of a Web Browser.  All students must register through Continuing Education Credit Programs, 1-800-772-1746 or 319-273-2504.
