Research & Development (RD3) Education Summit

More than 120 state educators, faculty, parents, legislators and community members attended UNI's R&D Education Summit to learn more about four national R&D models and how to transition Malcolm Price Laboratory School to an R&D school.  The four national models were:  Danville New Tech High School in Danville, Ill; Florida State University School; P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School in Gainesville, Fla; and Burris Laboratory School at Ball State University in Munci, Ind. Sharon Robinson, president and CEO of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE) presented "Research & Development Schools: Educating for the Next Generation."
