The Innovation Incubator at UNI is the newest business incubator on the UNI campus.
The new facility is designed to be a gateway between the private sector business community and the expertise of faculty and staff on campus. Featuring 13 beautiful office suites, the Innovation Incubator offers campus and community participants a comprehensive array of market research services, business technical assistance and training, an advisory team made up of both campus and business professionals along with space, student support, and educational and networking opportunities for up to two years.
Each suite comes fully furnished and includes high speed Internet technology, utilities, part-time receptionist services and access to state of the art business equipment, conference room and training facilities.
According to Maureen Collins-Williams, Director of the UNI Regional Business Center, the newest incubator at UNI offers two important features to entrepreneurs. “We’ve found that businesses who participate in our incubator programs have reduced risk associated with their start up and their growth is accelerated. The comprehensive array of services we’ve developed for tenants at the Innovation Incubator are some of the best in the country. We’ve recently added market research services to the program, based upon the national economic gardening movement. It’s a great time to be an entrepreneur in the Cedar Valley”.
