Secondary science teachers from across Iowa are supported through summer in the research labs of UNI scientists, working shoulder-to-shoulder on cutting edge investigations in chemistry, biology, physics, or earth/space science.

Weekly seminars, luncheons, guest speakers, even social events, are sprinkled in for good measure. During the following school year, science pedagogy specialists support teachers in translating research into classroom activities.

RAISE teacher participants rekindle their science fires while building relationships with university colleagues for the ultimate good of their students.
