Kevin J. BoatrightUniversity of Kansas
Kevin Boatright has been director of communications for the Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Graduate Studies at the University of Kansas since 2005. He previously served as associate executive vice chancellor for external affairs at Kansas; executive vice chancellor for external affairs at Kansas; assistant vice president for university relations and special assistant to the vice president for university relations at the University of Wisconsin System in Madison, Wisconsin; director of university communications and special projects at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville; director of development at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library in West Branch, Iowa; and assistant publications administrator at the University of Northern Iowa.
He received a B.A. degree in English and history from Nebraska Wesleyan University, an M.A. in journalism from the University of Iowa, an M.A. in history from the University of Northern Iowa, and an M.S. in higher education administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |

Monika M. Czehak has been a principal at MC Marketing & Communications in Vernon Hills, Illinois since 2007. Scott Ketelsen has served as associate director of university relations for marketing communications at the University of Iowa since 2005. He previously was director of marketing services for Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; director of operations, continuing education at Kirkwood Community College; manager of driver development at CRST International in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and manager of driver development at CRST International in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

James E. O'ConnorUniversity of Northern Iowa
James O'Connor has been the interim assistant vice president for marketing and public relations at the University of Northern Iowa since 2007. Prior to that he served as associate director of public relations in University Marketing and Public Relations; adjunct instructor in the Department of Communication Studies at UNI; a counselor and senior associate at Morgan & Myers in Waterloo, Iowa; director of development at the Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo, Iowa; account executive for CMF&Z Public Relations in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and as a radio & TV broadcasting specialist with the United States Air Force in Crete, Greece and Frankfurt, Germany.
