UNI receives continued accreditation

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The North Central Association of Colleges and Universities (NCA) Higher Learning Commission recently continued accreditation for the University of Northern Iowa. The announcement came after an evaluation team reviewed UNI's self-study process and made a campus visit in February.

"The NCA report was highly complimentary," said Robert Koob, UNI president. "They cited among the university's strengths a fiscally sound and dynamically managed university, the institution's maintenance of relatively small classes, continued development of new program initiatives, and newer facilities."
