Michael McBride is a 1962 alumnus of what was then State College of Iowa, now residing in Brookfield, Wis. In 1991 he established the J. Michael McBride accounting scholarship at UNI. He has served on the UNI Accounting Advisory Board and was a member of the Foundation Board in the mid-1990s. A longtime supporter of the university, he and his wife Ginny recently made gifts to the "Students First" campaign, to help fund the McLeodUSA Center.
