CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Farzad Moussavi, professor and associate dean of the College of Business Administration, has been named interim dean of the college, effective July 1. He replaces Willis "Bill" Greer, who is retiring.
Moussavi came to UNI in 1985 as an assistant professor in the Department of Management. In 1991, he became an associate professor in that department, and in 1996 was named acting head. He served as acting assistant dean of the college for one year. Moussavi received his Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas and an MBA from Roosevelt University, Chicago. Moussavi received a Diploma in Administration Studies from Leeds Polytechnic, Leeds, England; and a B.A. from the Institute of Advanced Accounting, Tehran, Iran.
