Latest in educational technology showcased at UNI
ITS-Educational Technology will host a mini-conference, "Spotlight on Educational Technology," Friday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Schindler Education Center.
Featured will be presentations and displays by students and teachers chosen winners in
Showcase on Educational Technology competition. Among them are the winners of
collaborative projects: Clarke College and the Archdiocese of Dubuque, for introducing Palm Pilots to schools in that area; Scott Community College and schools in that area, for bringing a culinary arts apprenticeship program to students; and Iowa State University and Newton Elementary, for developing "Toying with Technology," a project involving $3,500 in Lego toys.
