Fourth straight year for record spring enrollment at UNI

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- Another enrollment record has been set this spring on the University of Northern Iowa campus, with 13,201 students registered for spring semester classes. According to UNI Registrar Phil Patton, the new number tops last spring's record of 12,977. This marks the fourth consecutive year of record spring enrollments, and follows on the heels of four consecutive fall records.

The new enrollment mark is an increase of 224 students, or 1.7 percent over the spring 2001 enrollment.

NORTHERN IOWA NAMES AREA STUDENTS TO 2001 FALL SEMESTER DEAN'S LIST

CEDAR FALLS--(Name/Names) from the (Hometown) area is/are among the students named to the 2001 fall semester Dean's List at the University of Northern Iowa.

To be included on the list, a student must have earned a grade point of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, while taking at least 12 hours of graded work during the semester. On the 4.0 system, an A is worth four points; a B, three points; a C, two points, and a D, one point.
