Harry
Van Buren, Management, has placed an article in Business
and Society, Making the Case for Citizenship in Business Education
with first author Donna Wood and two others. Business Ethics Quarterly
has accepted Harrys article, Boundaryless Careers and Employability
Obligations for a special Issue on employment ethics. Kenneth
Atkinson, Philosophy and Religion, was selected, after Atul Mitra, Management, is first author on Crossing a Raging River in Bare Feet: Managing the Chaos of Global Pay Systems, in press at WorkatWork Journal. |

Sandra
Williamson, Intercollegiate Athletics, will be one
of a delegation of faculty and administrators traveling to St. Petersburg,
Russia to participate in the 5th Annual UNI-RGPU Atul
Mitra and Sue Wurtz, Management, and two other authors
will present Gender and Personality-based Differences in Pay Raise
Thresholds at the Academy of Management, where Atul is also third
author on Reactions to Merit Pay Increases: A Longitudinal Test
of a Signal Sensitivity Perspective, and participating in a symposium
on New Perspectives on Culture and Compensation." David
Saiia, Management, will present two papers at the International
Association for Business and Society, Exploring Dynamic Stakeholder
Relations," written with colleagues from Switzerland and Canada,
and "Business Citizenship and Corporate Social Responsibility"
with Kelly Strong of Michigan State. David will also present Structures
in Corporate Philanthropy: The Evolution of Strategic Philanthropy
at the Academy of Management, and Subject to Controversy: Public
Discourse of the Corporate Citizen with Dale Cyphert at the National
Communication Association. |

Penny O'Connor, Communication Studies, was inducted into the National Forensic Association Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is for people who have had a significant influence on NFA and have remained continued supporters of forensics. |
