David Duncan and Bonnie Litwiller, Mathematics, have published "Credit Card Calculations: Paying off the balance" in the MICHIGAN COUNCIL OF TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS, Spring 2001, Vol. 39, No. 2, pp. 21-23.

Jeffery Byrd, Art, has had three of his photogrphic works included in the book Photographic Possibilities published by Focal Press.

Jeffery Byrd, Art, recently taught a workshop at Penland School of Craft in North Carolina.

Professor D. J. Power, Management Dept., College of Business Administration, will present a paper titled "Decision Support Systems and Web Technologies: A Status Report" that he co-authored with Hemant K. Bhargava, Pennsylvania State University, at the 2001 Americas Conference on Information Systems in Boston, Aug. 4, 2001. The paper will appear in the proceedings of the conference. Power is also chairing and participating in a panel at the meeting titled "Philosophical Foundations of Decision Support Systems"

Also, Prof. Power recently returned from teaching Business Strategy at Moscow Linguistics University and he attended the Informing Science Conference in Krakow, Poland. In Krakow, Power presented a paper titled "Supporting Decision-Makers: An Expanded Framework". The paper was published in the proceedings (ISSN 1535-0703). He chaired the program track on "Informing Decision-Makers and Decision Support Systems".
