The award was announced at the group's annual convention in North Platte, Neb. In the announcement, the executive board cited Beall's commitment to students and teachers, especially those who wish to further their education through graduate degrees.

In addition, Kruckeberg recently served as an external reviewer for the public relations major at Southwest Missouri State University.
.....Mark Welty, Modern Languages - received a Certificate of Appreciation as an Outstanding Supporter of Arts and Culture from Resources Plus, The Cedar Valley Cultural Council, during a recent awards presentation program. He was nominated by the Cedar Falls Municipal Band for service as a 30-year member, building trustee and for volunteer work, which included computerization of the band's library holdings.
