Hurricane Katrina Relief
UNI students, faculty and staff:
Staff and faculty have been working to aid our students from the Gulf Coast and continue to evaluate how we can further help them and their families. We also are extending whatever help we can to the faculty and students of our sister institutions, Xavier, Southern and Dillard Universities in the New Orleans area.
We're also taking stock of relief efforts already underway by our student, faculty and staff organizations and will communicate those efforts in the days ahead.
It is very apparent that the need will continue in the weeks and months ahead so immediate donations to credible relief organizations are still desperately needed.
There are links to aid agencies, opportunities to help, relief updates and other hurricane-related news listed below. This will also serve as a clearinghouse for any ideas you have on how to help.
