What is an I-O Psychologist?
Industrial-Organizational (I-O) psychologists contribute to an organization's success by improving the performance and well-being of its people. An I-O psychologist researches and identifies how behaviors and attitudes can be improved through hiring, training, providing feedback, and designing work.
What can I do with a graduate degree in I-O?
University of Northern Iowa I-O graduates are prepared for a career as an applied psychologist as well as for future studies at the doctoral level. Some of our graduates are employed in consulting firms or business organizations, while others are pursuing their doctorate at nationally recognized I-O programs.
