This committee shall regularly assess the implementation of the Professional and Scientific policies and procedures as related to salary, fringe benefits, and promotions, and shall work with appropriate personnel to develop strategies to best serve P&S employees and the university; these policies and recommendations will be presented to the Council for approval and/or discussion.
Seek feedback from P&S Employees on current and future benefits and act as an advocate on their behalf.
Assist in the communication of current and future benefits to P&S Employees to increase awareness and participation.
Recommend salary distributions for P&S staff regarding across the board and merit percentages.
Research peer institutions and local employers to gain perspective on UNI’s benefits package.
