Welcome to the P&S Council Web Site!

The Professional and Scientific Council was established in 1978 for the purpose of studying, formulating, and recommending to administrative officers of UNI policies of interest to Professional and Scientific employees. The Council, consisting of representatives elected by division members, meets monthly during University office hours. Meetings are open to the public unless voted into executive session.

P&S Council Election

The P&S Council election is scheduled for March 1 - 12, 2010. There are five positions up for election representing the following divisions:

2 - Academic Affairs

1 - Student Affairs

2 - Administration and Finance

At this time we are seeking candidates. If you are interested in being a possible candidate, or if you would like to nominate another P&S employee to be considered as a candidate, please contact one of the committee members listed below as soon as possible but no later than February 10, 2010.

Meet the President

The annual "Meet the Pres" event was held at noon, Thursday, Ocober. 8, in the Old Central Ballroom of Maucker Union. All Professional & Scientific and Supervisory and Confidential Merit Personnel employees were invited. In addition to President Allen's address, the 2009 Regents Staff Excellence Award recipients were recognized. The event was sponsored by the P&S Council.
