Transition Teams in-place
On February 27, 2012, the Board of Regents officially approved closing Malcolm Price Laboratory School on June 30, 2012. Efforts are on-going as we work on the transition to close Malcolm Price Laboratory School and plan for Level II and some Level III clinical experiences in the local area for students.
A structure of ten teams is in-place that are specifically focused on these functions: transitioning the K-12 students, employee transitions, developing clinical experiences for the teacher education students, relocating the Child Development Center, enhancing communication efforts, determining next steps for the building and the contents, student records, donor relations, retaining MPLS historical aspects, and implementing the new Research and Development model. Visit the Transition Team Membership site for a complete list of the transition teams. If you have any questions during this transition, please contact Dwight C. Watson or Brenda Buzynski.
