Diversity Council
The Diversity Council:
- Reports to President
- Meet monthly, first Thursday each month (or an agreed upon time by council members)
- Responsible for leading and implementing diversity efforts.
- Update the President quarterly.
- Provide annual report to President and University Community.
- Appoint chair of the Diversity Advisory Committee.
- Advisory committee reports to the Diversity Council.
To ensure university-wide participation in planning, policy formation and program development, the Council will form and charge a Diversity Advisory Committee. (The Advisory committee will assess effectiveness of diversity efforts on campus and provide feedback to the Diversity Council.)
Charge of the advisory committee is determined by the Council.
Chair of the Diversity Council will rotate on an annual basis among the four Vice Presidents (as determined by the President).
