6.08 Workshop Credit
University academic credit granted for the completion of workshop activities
ought to reflect effort which would compare favorably with on-campus university
coursework. If the workshop is essentially an activity workshop, then
there should be approximately 30 hours of contact time for each semester
hour credit. If the workshop is essentially lecture-discussion, approximately
15 hours of contact time should be required for each semester hour of
credit. It is also expected that additional work beyond this would be
required as it would with regular on-campus classes.
