Login Details

1. Login to your course by going to https://lamont.uni.edu.

2. At the screen shown below, click the link for "University of Northern Iowa."
   
    

3. On the next screen, click the "Log In" button.
   
    

4. The next screen asks for your WebCT Username and Password. Type them by following the example below. Then click OK.
   
   
    

5. Next you will be required to change your password (see image below). The Current Password is the same one you just used during your initial login (7-digit phone number with no area code and no hyphen). Select a new password that will be easy for you to remember (For example, you may wish to use the same password that you use for email). Your New Password must follow the following guidelines:

   at least 6 characters any combination of letters, numbers, and special characters password is case sensitive ("SMITH" is different than "smith" or "Smith")

   
    

6. NOTE: After saving your changed password, you will be required to log in again using your new password. Your username does not change.

My WebCT

After logging in with your new password, you will be presented with the "My WebCT" portal. On your first login, as the page loads, you will be presented with the following dialogue box dealing with a security certificate. Simply click the "Always" button for each box that appears (probably two dialogue boxes). Clicking "Always" prevents the dialogue boxes from appearing on subsequent logins.

The primary portion of My WebCT with which you need to be concerned is the "Course List" channel (located in the center of the portal near the top of the page).

In the Course List, look for the name of the NPPS course for which you are currently enrolled. Click on the course title to enter the course.

Course Content Home

GREAT! You made it! You'll know you're in the right place when you see the Course Content Home page. It should resemble the image below but will contain the name of the course for which you are currently enrolled.
