UNI Overseas Recruiting Fair XXXIII

Over 1,000 teaching/administrative positions posted annually.
We anticipate over 200 recruiters representing more than 120 schools worldwide.
If you want to use your teaching or administrative credential as a passport while you explore the world, then the UNI Overseas Recruiting Fair may be for you. Only certified elementary and secondary educators may participate. Participating in the UNI Fair gives candidates the opportunity to network and interview with K-12 international schools. Most schools offer contracts on-site during the event.
Registration
In order to register with the UNI Overseas Placement Service, you hold certification as an elementary or secondary teacher or administrator. Current-year college graduates (those securing certification prior to Fall, 2009) are also invited to register (registration contingent upon required documentation).
What is the first step?
In order to register for the UNI Overseas Recruiting Fair, you must first order the UNI Overseas Fair Registration Packet here. Once you have ordered the registration packet through the link above, you will receive the packet electronically along with a username and password that will allow you to begin the registration process.

The registration packet will include an overview of our services, registration procedures, deadlines, and an outline of the annual fair registration fees. See the registration packet for details. We do not charge placement fees to candidates or recruiting schools.
Once you have completed and submitted all of the necessary paperwork and paid the registration fee, you will receive confirmation of registration from our office. The earlier you register, the more prepared you will be for the Fair. We strongly encourage all interested candidates to register .

Overview / Schedule
The 33rd annual UNI Overseas Recruiting Fair begins at 7:00 am on Friday, January 30, 2009. You must be present at the event by 7:00 am on Friday to fully utilize the Fair. Fair activities continue through 3:00 pm Sunday, February 1. Successful candidates will make arrangements to attend the Fair all three days. The Fair will be host to over 100 international schools recruiting for over 65 countries. Recruiters typically conduct over 1800 interviews and candidates average 6 interviews each during the event. Many schools also conduct orientation sessions at the Fair, which offer detailed information on schools/countries. The Fair is a wonderful learning and networking opportunity.
