Managing financial resources in colleges is about more than just paying tuition and fees.  These resources may help you support your student as he or she learns to become a responsible, financially savvy adult. 

 

Paying for College

UNI Financial Aid Office - This site answers parents' most commonly asked questions and provides resources for searching for scholarships, grants, and loans, both inside and outside the University.   

UNI Scholarships - Whether your students are entering their first or last years at UNI, they have opportunities to apply for UNI scholarships.   

Applying for Financial Aid - The financial aid process can sometimes be difficult to navigate.  Learn more about the important steps and deadlines. 

  

Finding a Job

Student Employment - Working can be a great way to develop important time management and professional skills.  On-campus work in particular provides additional benefits, including helping students connect to the University and become more familiar with all it has to offer.  Learn more about on and off campus employment options here. 

Online Job Board - Students can always access the list of available positions on our Online Job Board. 

 

Managing Money

Money Management Tips and Resources - The Office of Student Financial Aid provides education and resources to support students as they become more financially independent. 

Live Like a Student - Students can learn more about money management with their peers in this free, non-credit course.  In addition, they may win a scholarship for their participation!
