CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa's Masters of Business Administration program has been listed among U.S. News & World Report's top part-time MBA programs. U.S. News & World Report's rankings are among the most widely sought-after university recognition sources in the world.

The ranking is limited to part-time MBA programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). Criteria include assessment by business school deans, admission selectivity and students' prior work experience.

"It is gratifying to receive this outside recognition for our MBA program," said UNI College of Business Administration Dean Farzad Moussavi. "The high quality of instruction and strong student focus for which the MBA program was recognized define the education we deliver in the entire college."

UNI’s College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB International, the gold standard of business school accreditation around the world, and has been on The Princeton Review’s list of Best Business Schools for eight consecutive years.

The part-time MBA program is designed for the working professional, with night and weekend classes that focus on real-world situations and managerial best practices. In 2012, the UNI College of Business Administration began offering a satellite part-time MBA program in Pella, Iowa, to better serve the state. It has delivered an MBA program in Hong Kong since 2001, providing an international opportunity for faculty and the option for students to study overseas. A new program in mainland China was launched at the beginning of 2014.
