CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa, in conjunction with the Iowa Association of College Admissions Counselors, is inviting students from Iowa high schools to participate in the 2013 College Fair from 9 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the McLeod Center.
High school juniors and seniors will visit with representatives from more than 85 postsecondary institutions from Iowa and surrounding states during the fair.
Students will also have the opportunity to browse displays from the visiting institutions, which include two- and four-year public and private colleges and universities, technical and cosmetology schools, as well as the military.
As in previous years, the fair will use the College Fair Automation barcode and scanner system to speed up the exchange of information between students and colleges. To be a part of this, students need to register online prior to the event to generate a barcode with their student information.
Participants can pre-register their information for the fair by accessing the registration form at www.iowacollegefairs.com. The student's information will not be shared with any third party vendors; it will only be shared with the colleges and universities selected by the students.
