UNI Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Student Association to host luncheon

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Student Association will host the 10th annual Cedar Valley Nonprofit Awards Luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, in the Commons Ballroom. The event will recognize the contributions of local nonprofits and nonprofit leaders.

Awards are available for individuals and organizations. Award categories include Business Partner of the Year, Nonprofit Staff Leader of the Year, Nonprofit Board Member of the Year, Koob Award for Collaboration, Gordon Mack Award for Student Leadership, Legacy Award, New Nonprofit Employee of the Year and Exceptional Nonprofit of the Year. The organization recognized as Exceptional Nonprofit of the Year will receive $1,000. This award is sponsored by the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa to recognize an organization's outstanding efforts.

Anyone may submit a nomination, and there is no limit to the number of nominations that can be submitted. Nominations are due by Wednesday, March 19. Nomination forms are available at the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance website, uni-nonprofit.org/community-resources/nla-nonprofit-awards/. The cost to attend the luncheon is $30 per ticket, $100 for a half table that seats four and $200 for a full table that seats eight. To RSVP for the event, email nonprofit.luncheon@gmail.com.
