UNI John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center names Student Entrepreneur of the Year

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (JPEC) recently named Shannon Blake, a senior finance major from Guttenberg, Student Entrepreneur of the Year. The award was presented at the College of Business Administration's Spring Gala, along with a $200 cash prize.

Blake is the daughter of Tom and Martha Blake and received the award for her leadership as president of UNI Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (UNI CEO). The group's purpose is to encourage, inspire and support students in entrepreneurial ventures.
