The music of Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen will be discussed in UNI lecture

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa will host a lecture by John Johnson, professor of history at UNI, from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, in Seerley Hall, Room 115.

Johnson will present "Harmony or Discord? The Music of Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen as Historical Text," which examines the use of history in the lyrics of two of the most influential songwriters of the last half century. It will feature several music videos and analysis of some of the artists' compositions.
