CEDAR FALLS, Iowa -- The University of Northern Iowa is offering a variety of activities this summer to keep students learning in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM), by offering summer camps for middle school and high school students.
Each camp features a unique interactive learning environment through which students can gain hands-on experience while working among students with similar interests. The STEM focused camps include: Smart Art, Camp Multimedia, CSI: Cedar Falls - Crime fighting with Biotechnology, Mini Sumo Robotics, Introduction to Robotics, STEM's Growing in the Garden, Wild Energy Adventure and Physics of Mario Kart.
Camps are one week, held between the weeks of June 10 through July 22, and are located on the UNI campus. UNI faculty, staff and current students will lead the camps.
