CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – John J. Kamerick, the University of Northern Iowa's sixth president, died Monday, April 13, in Sarasota, Florida, at the age of 95. President Kamerick served at UNI from 1970 through 1983. The Kamerick Art Building, built in 1985, was named in honor of him.
