Home-schooled students from the Cedar Valley will visit UNI Friday, April 26, to participate in science activities and tour science laboratories.

Leslie Jones, assistant professor in the Department of Biology, arranged the visit. 'Parents are always looking for creative opportunities to augment and enrich the education of their children,' she explained. 'The parents of these students have made an important decision regarding education, and we are supporting that decision with this science field trip.'

Students arrive at the Center for Energy and Environmental Education at 1 p.m. for a two-hour stay.
