What comes around goes around and I find myself President of the
Cedar Valley Sertoma Club. I would say again, but the last time, I
believe, we were the Cedar Falls Sertoma Club. Where would we be
without those Waterloo guys?
First, thanks to Jessica Williams for her leadership and work this
past year. I’m sure that it flew by even though last July, Jessica
thought it would last forever. It should be noted that on Jessica’s
watch, we had positive growth in the Cedar Valley Sertoma Club as
did all of the East Iowa. I would also like to thank Troy
Dellegardelle for his secretarial acumen and Chris Neuhaus for all
of the things that he does to keep us moving forward and for
stepping up to be Chair of the Board for this another year. And
thanks to Lloyd who was a rock all year with the treasurer’s job and
his many other duties. How in the world will we replace him? And Bob
Robinson, thank you for stepping up to solve our treasurer issues
these past two months. Thanks to all Cedar Valley Sertomans who have
contributed to our very successful year.
Note the list of new officers. I think it would be very valuable to
have two more members on the Board of Directorts. If you have an
interest, please let me know. I will be twisting some arms
otherwise.
I am looking forward to this year and after the first Board meeting
we will have some specific goals for Cedar Valley Sertoma.
