Board Meeting - Minutes

Present at Meeting

Joe Alemao, Chris Neuhaus, Paula Padavich, and Jessica Williams


Minutes - Minutes from the January 14, 2004 Board Meeting were reviewed. Jessica moved to accept, Joe provided a 2nd.  Minutes were unanimously accepted.

 

Treasurer’s Report  - General Account $1.450.27

                                 Sponsorship Account $1,428.99

Chris moved to accept this report with Joe 2nd. Report was accepted

 

Flags -  The flag captains will be meeting to discuss territory.  In April, the entire club will assist the captains to help with renewals and new flag participants.

 

UNI Collegiate Sertoma - Hopefully the UNI Collegiate Sertoma  will be official by the end of March. Chris will be speaking at the Social Work Club’s Spring Banquet in late March.

 

Officers were discussed for the upcoming year.  Several positions need to be filled one being the President Elect.  Director’s positions are also available on the Board.

 

Sturgis – Menu items were discussed if Sertoma is allowed to have a booth at Overman Park.  Possible elimination of the grilled items was mentioned.  Other items to include were Walking Tacos, Nachos, Pickles on a Stick, and possible baked goods. 

 

Sponsorship - Donna had brought the idea about starting scholarships through Sertoma.  A committee will need to be formed to decide on the application process and procedure.
