1. Donna Brown thanked everyone for signing up to peddle Valentine Buns at local
businesses.
2. Carol Cooper stated that some of her students would be willing to deliver Valentine
Buns is needed. The Cedar Valley Sertoma Club could make donation to this student group
based on their participation.
3. Lloyd Berry announced that Dr. Paul Strayer will be this year's Service to Mankind
winner and will speak at the upcoming Awards Banquet - Sunday, February 24.
4. Donna read the letter from International Director Sheila Reding approving the Club's name change to Cedar Valley Sertoma Club.
5. Donna reminded the club to push for a GEM award and noted that this award can now be won during any quarter of the year.
6. Carol suggested that we keep our archives at the UNI Rod Library in the Special Collections.
7. Carol talked about the student essay contest and asked for readers. Angie Burda, Carlin Hageman, and Tom Keel volunteered to read the essays. Donna asked that we solicit all schools in the area via an announcement in the Waterloo Courier. Carol agreed to take care of this announcement.
8. Lloyd presented the Treasurer's report.
9. Cliff Highnam announced that we had permission to temporarily cover the windows in our meeting room with paper during video and slide presentations.
