February 19, 2002 was $1,089.98. The Sponsorship Account balance as of February 19,

3. Donna reintroduced the subject of the request for funds to pay for some of the medical
expenses of Faruk Pehlic - a motion to fund up to $200 of Faurk's medical expenses was
tabled during the past Cedar Valley Sertoma Club meeting on February 12. Carol
suggested that if we decide to provide funding for this individual the club should
consider including a fund line for such cases in the 2002-2003 budget. Lloyd noted
that the Waterloo Sertoma Club would pay via their foundation funds - and generally set
aside about $2000 per year for such requests. Lloyd also announced that he had yet
to receive further details from the Pehlic family and so moved to again table the motion.
Motion tabled.
