Hopes to have them at the next meeting. Pole length was discussed. consensus was to go to 12' length. 1.5 ft. into a sleeve in the ground. Carlin will contact "Higby" for a device to easily install the ground sleeve. Location is to be up to the property owner. We will call city for a "buried services" location.

Sertoma Camp: A summer camp located at Brainard MN. We need to discuss giving camperships through donations to the camp, hopefully for local individuals to attend.

Sy Gau: District pledge. Carlin Hageman will check into the information that the district is behind in its payments to this pledge.

Hearing Machine-for Sister University in Russia: Cliff Highnam presented a written application for funds for this device for doing early intervention for newborns with hearing defects. Cliff is going to the University in Russia in May and will gain more
information on the use, follow-up, etc. After which we will discuss this project as a "Joint" project with UNI and perhaps private funds involvement to make this a possible deal. Moved by Carlin, second by Paula for Cliff to proceed gathering information.

LEAD conference: Cedar Falls Sertoma will host a leadership conference in late July or Early Aug. Carlin is working this out with Trainer Bob Braffle of Fort Dodge

Stroke victims: Carlin briefly discussed a possible future Sertoma Club project assisting the people. IE travel to meet with other stroke victims.

Federal 501 (c) Status: Bill Robinson to check with Sertoman Paul Morris soon as to the Cedar Valley Club gaining this status with the IRS. (Would help flag project donations - unless too late for this year.)
