Teague Moore of Oklahoma State held on in sudden death overtime to defeat Shane Valdez of Oklahoma 6-5. Trailing after the second,Valdez came back in the third period with a takedown to take the lead, but Moore escaped and tied it up. Neither wrestler scored in the first overtime. Valdez chose down in the second overtime, but was unable to escape and Moore held on for the win.
