Joey Heckel scored early with a takedown. He led 2-0 after the 1st and 2nd periods. He would score again in the 3rd with an escape. Rider's Jason Nase scored a takedown with 0:03 left in the third, but it wasn't enough as Heckel's riding time point made the final score 4-2.
