Nick Zinkin of Fresno St got two early against Anthony Sorantino of Fresno St
with an ankle pick, but the points wouldn't last. An escape by Sorantino
would run the match to 2-1. Again Zinkin came back with a double-leg takedown
followed by a another Sorantino escape and the match was 4-2 after one period.
In the second period, there were two escapes, one per wrestler.
Midway through the third, Sorantino would ride Zinkin to the mat to tie the
match at 5 apiece. But riding time would prove to be the determining factor as
Sorantino carried the match and won 6-5.
