Scott Stay from North Carolina, upset-winner over #4 seed Brian Picklo the previous round, matched up against Eric Sanders of UNC-Greensboro in the 190 pound weight class. Stay proved he wasn't a fluke however, by pinning Sanders in 1:31 into the second period.
