| Ryan Cunningham was named 1997 MAC Freshman of the Year in addition
to being the 150 pound MAC champion as well. This freshman's record
of 27-9 includes five pins and a 2-2 mark versus nationally ranked
opponents. Cunningham is no stranger to success however....at
Fulton High School in Middleton, Mich., he won an incredible 200
matches while losing only 3. A three-time state champion, Ryan
Cunningham has been an all-American, all-state wrestler and younger
brother to CMU's Casey Cunningham, a two-time national qualifier. |
