| The senior co-captain posted his first Big Ten tournament placing in 1997 as he recorded a 3-2 record and claimed seventh place. He will be making his first trip to the NCAA tournament. Morici posted a pair of third place finishes in early season tournaments as he sprinted out to a 12-2 start to the year. A new aggresiveness on the mat helped him to post a 12-7 dual meet mark, including an impressive 4-3 win over then No.3 ranked and current No.1 Barry Weldon of Iowa State at the National Duals. He has recorded six major decisions and one fall on the year. Morici has been the starter at 177 pounds in the Penn State dual lineup over the past two years. |
