UPDATE FROM THE STUDENT HEALTH CLINIC:
Take the flu risk
test. Are you:
1. Under age 64 with chronic medical conditions?
2. Pregnant, or planning to be pregnant during flu season?
3. A health-care worker?
4. Someone who has regular contact with children younger than 6 months
old?
If you answered NO to all these questions you are not at high risk,
but should still visit the Student Health Clinic Web site for tips

If you answered YES to any of these questions, the Black Hawk County
Department of Public Health strongly recommends you receive a flu

VOLUNTEER
OPPORTUNITIES:
Covenant Medical Center and Country View are looking for friendly,
compassionate people. Covenant needs greeters and information desk
assistants to welcome visitors and give directions. Training will
be provided. Country View needs assistants to work with residents

AFTER SCHOOL
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
After school programs looking for volunteers a few times each week
to provide tutoring for kids in need. Mid Iowa Family Therapy program
runs Monday-Friday 4-6 p.m. and works with high-risk adolescents.
Kids Cafe with NE Iowa Food Bank works daily with low-income children,
providing activities, tutoring and mentorship in a safe and friendly

NEW SEXUAL
ASSAULT POLICY:
Two policies have been added to the UNI's Policies and Procedures.
The policies are "3.15 Sexual Assault and Sexual Misconduct Policy"
and "13.12 Policy on Use of Social Security Numbers." The
policies were approved by the UNI President's Cabinet May 14, 2004.
