PAYROLL CUTOFF DATES: The
monthly time period cutoff dates for student and merit staff time
sheets and final dates for payroll changes can be found at

TAG SALE: On
Friday, Jan. 16, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., UNI will hold a tag sale at 8712
University Ave.(aka Graceland or the Memfis House), just SW of the
PAC. Items for sale include desks, credenzas, and chairs (mostly wooden).
All items are specifically priced for sale, sold “as is”
and must be removed by 2 p.m. on that day. Payment must be made in
cash (good check) on site before removal. Turn from University Ave.
on Ohio St., then immediately onto 31st St. and left again on the
dead-end service road to the first house. Call Vince at 273-3527 with

IRONMAN
TRIATHLON: The WRS Ironman Triathlon Challenge,
a fitness incentive program, will take place during the spring semester.
Three different events will be offered: traditional challenge, non-swimmers,
and double challenge. Registration begins Jan. 26.

AVAILABLE: Students who have a Graduate
Assistantship Stipend and/or a Graduate College Tuition Scholarship
can now track processing through two new WebCT sites -- Graduate Assistantship
Tracking and Graduate College Scholarship Tracking. Access these sites

have not yet used WebCT, click on the "UNI Student - Enrolled
in On-Campus Course" link for information to set up account password.
With the availability of these sites, reminder notices will no longer

ART EXHIBIT: From
Jan. 12 through Feb. 8 the UNI Gallery of Art will present "Convention
and Invention: An Exhibition of Publication Design" featuring the
traveling exhibition "50 Books/50 Covers," organized by the American
Institute for Graphic Arts. In addition, three artists are highlighted:
Douglas Holleley, international book artist; Nikki McClure, papercutter
and book artist; and Walter Hamady, printmaker, papermaker and poet.

JOHN AMOS' HALLEY'S COMET AT
THE GBPAC: Monday, Jan. 19, 7:30 p.m. John
Amos of Roots and West Wing fame, brings his one-man production to
the Gallagher-Bluedorn for a special Martin Luther King, Jr. Day performance.
Halley's Comet describes the journey one man has taken since the first
time he saw the comet as a young boy to his second meeting, 76 years
later. Amos tells the story of one man and the experience of black
