LOBSTER ALICE: Tickets
are now available for Theatre UNI's first production of the 2003/04
season, "Lobster Alice," a quirky adventurous romantic comedy
by Minneapolis playwright Kira Obolensky. Performances are Oct. 9-11

Drop boxes for old cellular phones will be
located in WRC 224, ITC 9, CEEE 111 and the DOR Office in Redeker Center
now through Oct. 24. The phones are remanufactured for use in domestic

NATIONAL DEPRESSION SCREENING DAY: Free, anonymous
screening for depression will be conducted at the UNI Counseling Center
on Thursday Oct. 9 at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The sessions will consist
of information about various types of depression, completion of a brief
screening questionnaire, and a meeting with a mental health professional.

UNI students starting a small business should
enter the fourth annual Pappajohn New Venture Business Plan Competition
for Iowa college students. The deadline to register is Oct. 21 at 3
p.m. in CBB 264. The business start-up must be owned or operated by
an Iowa college student. $5,000 is awarded to each of three winners

FALL SPANISH FILM FESTIVAL:
The Department of Modern Languages and Sigma Delta Pi Spanish honor
society are hosting a Spanish Film Series every Wednesday in October
in CAC 108 starting at 7 p.m. Five films from Oscar-award-winning Spanish
director Pedro Almodovar will be screened. Every film will be proceded

Students in Free Enterprise and Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization
are sponsoring FALL FEST to be held Sunday, Oct. 12 at the GBPAC from
4-8 p.m. Seven bands will battle for $600 in prizes. Door prizes, food
