MORE MARS VIEWING:
If you were not able to view Mars last week when it was closest to
Earth, you can still see it this month. There are regular observatory
programs at McCollum Science Hall, and several open houses at Hillside

STUDENT E-MAIL ACCOUNTS TO
BE REMOVED: UNI E-mail accounts for students
not registered for fall semester are disabled, archived to tape, and
removed from the server begining Monday, Sept. 15.

PANTHER MEAL PLAN:
The "Panther Meal" Plan being promoted on campus and at
local restaurants is not associated with the university. It is a declining
balance plan organized by a company based in Virginia. Information
about UNI Dining Services on the Panther Meal Plan Web site are not
correct.

NISG WEB ADDRESS: The
Northern Iowa Student Government Web address has changed. The new
address is http://www.uni.edu/studentorgs/nisg.

FAIR PRICE POLICY:
The NISG special book prices advisory committee has implemented a
new fair price policy at University Book and Supply. UBS will match
prices on new books not sold on auction sites. Visit University Book

CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE:
Preference to undergraduate UNI students working towards degree or

FALL MASSAGE SCHEDULE:
The Wellness Resource Lab, WRC 104, offers massages by a licensed
massage therapist. Come for relief Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout
the fall from 11 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for 15 minutes and
sessions up to one hour may be purchased. Pay by cash, check, U-bill,

WRC: The UNI Tae Kwon-Do Club is now 34
years old. We practice Traditional Chung do Kwan Tae Kwon-Do. The
focus is on discipline, courtesy, and respect, and it's a fun way

SWIM LESSONS: Paddling
Panther Learn-to-Swim Program is accepting registrations for children
of students, faculty and staff. All instructors are American Red Cross
Certified and will teach Preschool through Level VII. Classes will

UNI will hold auditions tonight for the Off-Hudson Play Reading of

OSHA'S KNOCKING, ARE YOU READY?
The UNI Regional Business Center is hosting "OSHA’s Knocking, Are
You Ready?," a workshop for all employers and personnel managers,
Tuesday Sept. 16 from 9 a.m.- noon at the RBC office, 212 E. 4th St.,
in downtown Waterloo. Topics discussed will include federal and state
OSHA regulations, types of inspections and violations, penalties,
record keeping, how to tell if you are having a bad inspection and

Sept. 16, 7:30 PM, Seerley 115. The UNI Inter-American Studies Program
presents Father Roy Bourgeois, Vietnam veteran and missionary, who
will speak on his fight to close the US Army School of the Americas,
which has trained Latin American soldiers responsible for documented
human rights abuses.
