each Monday during the academic year by the office of University Marketing
and Public Relations. Information is also available on the MyUNIverse

SMASH
MOUTH VENUE CHANGE: The SmashMouth concert will be held
in the West Gym on Dec. 5 at 8 pm. (not the UNI-Dome) due to football
playoffs. The opening act will be local band Gravity Crush. Tickets
are $15 for UNI students and $20 for the general public. There will
be no refunds.

PRINTED
GRADE REPORTS NO LONGER MAILED:
Commencing with the Fall 2001 semester, printed grade reports will
no longer be mailed to students. Please refer to http://www.uni.edu/regist/gradesfa.htm
for information about accessing and printing grade reports. Students
who need a printed copy and do not have web access may request a copy
by calling the Office of the Registrar at 319-273-2241.

AREA
CODE SPLIT ENFORCED: In
March, the eastern area of the 319 area code was split and given the
new area code 563. For a period of time calls to the area could be
placed using either area code. However, as of December 2nd, it will
be necessary to use the 563 area code to the area subject to the split.

LIBRARY HOMEPAGE: During
the first week in January the Rod Library will be implementing a new
homepage. In anticipation of that event the library would like to
make the new design available for review and comment by the UNI community.

UNI-CUE
HAS MOVED:
UNI Center for Urban Education has moved to 800 Sycamore Street, Waterloo,
50703-4730. The UNI directory includes the new address, but NOT the
new mail code. Please change your directories to 4730. UNI-CUE includes
the following programs: Educational Opportunity Center, Educational
Talent Search, Upward Bound, and the Upward Bound Math and Science.

be offering one last flu shot clinic on Mon., Dec. 3 in Expansion

ANONYMOUS MEETING: A new Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Meeting
will be held on Thursdays at 5:15 p.m. downstairs at the St. Stephan's
Catholic Student Center, located at 1019 West 23rd St. AA is a fellowship
of men and women who share their experiences, strength and hope with
each other that they may solve their common problem and help others

Club Plants Sale will be held in Mauker Union from 10:00 to 5:00pm
Wed., Dec. 5th and Thurs., Dec 6th. There will be a wide variety of
plants, from herbs to succlents as well as a few water plants. The

OF THE RED DRAGON": UNIfy, Theatre UNI's performance
outreach team, will present "The Tale of the Red Dragon," a play for

SATURDAY SMART START CLASS - DECEMBER 8: The UNI Regional
Business Center will be holding a series of workshops on starting
a business and writing and researching a business plan. The workshops
are free, but advanced registration is required, and space is limited.
The workshops will be held at 212 E. 4th St. in Waterloo from 8:30
am-noon. The first workshop, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. will offer an overview
of the decisions and requirements for starting a small business. The
second workshop, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., will provide an overview of
the purpose and components of a business plan. The third workshop,
from 10:30-noon, is Hands-on Research and Writing in the RBC computer
